I had a great chat with Shevek of Anarres at Mashed08. Last year he came by the Make stand and built some fantastic bridges using nothing but O'Reilly pencils:

Shevek is putting together An Adventure in Technology in Bristol this Saturday, (28th June 2008). The idea is for experts in different technologies to help each other get a grounding in each other's fields, to spread their knowledge around. It's a great concept and it should be great fun:
We want you to create and discover new ideas using technology. Bring your unexpected toys, your creations, projects and ideas, put them together with others, and see what happens! We won't really know what's going to happen until the day, but we will be announcing any pre-confirmed items in the programme. The day will include talks, workshops, hands-on demos and presentations, and lots of opportunities to play. We are expecting visitors from all over the country and even the world bringing skills, toys and puzzles to share.
Here he is describing it in more detail:

Bah. It doesn't play the video in Gnash 0.8.2 - the default "free" flash that comes with current Ubuntu. Just a boring blank window.

Hi Jamie
Thanks for your comment. Which video hosting service would be better for you?
